Tonight I watched an NEC opera production - The Tender Land, by Copland. The plot was rather disconcerting for me, but it was very, very realistic and appropriate for the time period when it was written (1953), very reflective of real issues of the real world of America...I had many other thoughts about it, but those are kept private.
John and his friends came to see the opera also, and I was very glad to see them. :)

*sigh*

No, but I'm still very happy, and I will be um, ready to start practicing again tomorrow morning. Therefore I should go to bed. NOW! It's 11 pm. I should get up at 6 am at least. Glad we don't have orchestra tomorrow.
